One interesting fact that we learned is that there exist other products other than grab bars that function as empowering bathroom safety devices. One of these products are non-slip flooring, a product that is commonly used around public pools to keep people from falling.
There are two brands that Howard recommended as exceptional and easy to install, DuraGrid and Dri-Dek. Both of these products are made up of rubber non-slip tiles that snap together easily to form a wall-to-wall non-slip flooring. They can be easily lifted up to allow periodic cleaning as well.
